  Despite all the photos of a gorgeous pool - it is not open and available due to staffing issues, so that was a big disappointment for my daughter. The house itself is perfect, very clean, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. There’s a beautiful beach and other amenities, like tennis and basketball courts. I would stay here again, but website needs to reflect the pool issue. Not really fair to people who book for that reason.

  We stayed in cottage 8B and had a great time with our 2 kids, 4 years old and 1 year old! The cottage was very clean, comfortable and spacious for our family of 4. Kitchen was fully stocked, we cooked /grilled all our meals in the cottage. The amenities at the resort were perfect for the kids, heated pool, kiddie pool, park, yard games . We visited the beach on the resort property, however it is almost non existent due to the water level but there are many public beaches nearby. The staff did advise us ahead of time about the beach so we weren't disappointed. We will definitely be back for future family vacations!

  Sleepy Hollow is a charming enclave on the shore of Lake Michigan. Many in our group had never stayed there before and were completely charmed. Each the 3 units we rented had it's own well pulled together vibe and was well appointed. The grounds are lovely and it is a nice walk into town. Will definitely be back!

Pros: Clean, Well Maintained, Heated Pool, Access to private beach (even though little remained due to high water levels), Proximity to downtown, Activities for Kids (incl. playground), Friendly Staff.
