  The only negatives was that the furniture in the living room is really uncomfotable. It squishes down really low...and if you're taller than 5 ft, it's tough to get out of. Aside from that, it's great. Big kitchen, well stocked w/implements. Clean, big bathrooms. Big living room. Dining area. Upstairs bedroom really nice; big. PLENTY of hangars and closet space. Will stay again!

  Unit A is perfect for our chamber music retreat! However, it NEEDS to have a large A somewhere near the door, so people can identify it and we found only 5 mugs (for 6 people) and no wine glasses. Office: please transmit receipts when payments are received. Thank you.

  My family met my sister and her husband for a family vacation. We had a fantastic time. We rented Stonebridge A and she rented Stonebridge C. Both cottages were perfect.   Property was clean and in a great location. Bedrooms were comfortable. Living room furniture was not as comfortable, I think it was picked more for aesthetics than for comfort. Kitchen was well stocked. Make sure you logout of your streaming accounts before you leave. They say the Roku logs you out automatically, however when using the tv downstairs we could access a few streaming accounts left active by previous guest. The Roku did not log them out after they left.

  We have stayed at Sleepy Hollow in the past so knew what to expect. It has modest amenities and services and is quiet, and is good for a quiet family vacation, which is what we wanted. We liked this unit because it was unattached to others, and if you stretch your neck you can see the lake through the trees. It had everything we needed and is as described. The property was generally clean but there were a fair amount of dead bugs and dust so we chalked it up to perhaps not being rented recently. It probably could have used a vacuum/ dusting of the bugs or better sealed windows. The weather was great and the resort very peaceful, would definitely recommend.

  We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at Sleepy Hollow. Our condo was clean and inviting. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the beach was clean and inviting. The pool was too chilly for my 79-year-old bones but our granddaughter loved it. And the staff was cordial and responsive.   This is our 6th summer at Sleepy Hollow. Our family loves it here, but sadly it may be our last as the beach is drastically decreasing and our weekly fees increasing. I'm not sure how we can be charged private beach prices without a beach. Some upgrades, heated pool, better children's area and perhaps a way to enjoy the lake better would continue to make this a great play to stay. We hope we can continue making Sleepy Hollow memories!

  We have been coming to sleepy hollow for 10 years (one to two weeks per year). We love the place but we are concerned: 1- There is enough beach to add rings in a line in parallel to the water line. Yes, this would require placing and removing the rings in a regular basis, when there is high tide, but given how fires at the beach has been a central experience to Sleepy Hollow it should be pursued. 2- There are modern methods to bring beaches back and prevent erosion. The town of South Heaven and various of the Sleepy Hollow Neighbors have done this and Sleepy Hollow should invest on this before it is too late. For example, shaping the beach so that it maintains a higher towards the water. Bringing new sand in as necessary. Yes, these measures are costly, but will ensure property values are maintained.
  We have stayed at various properties in Sleepy Hollow, we like A the most and now stay only in A. The Art Deco interiors are the most attractive part of the Unit. Please do not change that. Over the years, A has been slowly stripped of its original decor and we lament that. The original colors were fantastic. The furnishings and wall decorations have been fantastic. We appreciate that the unit was painted recently (thank you!) and that new hooks and towel holders were added to one of the bathrooms. But several painting/posters/mirrors have now gone missing. Please do not strip the unit of its decor any more or it will loose its charm. The art deco furniture is fabulous. From the sofa to the tables and chairs, as well as all the beds. We have had issues with the air conditioning in the past (which in July its terrible) but we did not have it this year. Everything else works great. Hooks on the wall when you come in, for towels would be a good addition. The kids activities are great, please maintain. Perhaps add a ew for slightly older kids. More tennis would be great. Thank you for asking our opinion. Finally, Jackie is amazing. She is the soul of the place.

  We met our family there for a weeks stay on Lake MI. The property was awesome. We are tennis players so it was fun to meet people there and play.
  Everyone was so friendly except the daytime office staff. I felt like I was bothering them when I went in to ask a question. The young people working there at night were great.

  $500/day seemed a little steep but the cottage was on Lake Michigan. The picture of the "beach" on the website is when Lake Michigan was much, much lower than it was this summer. The beach was very narrow this year AND four stories down a set of stairs. The cottage was fine, though a little old. Some of the windows do not work. The pool is beautiful and the playground was great for children of all ages. The staff on the property were helpful. Fortunately some very nice beaches are not too far away. It is very convenient to downtown South Haven. I am checking that I would recommend to a friend as long as they understand the limitations.

  This was our first visit to Sleepy Hollow. We stayed in Unit A over Memorial Day weekend. My husband initially was not pleased because he felt the unit needed some serious updating (old appliances, decor). I found it to be funky in a retro way, and it was spotless and pretty well-stocked. My only issue was spiders lurking in the corners of every room. Our family played basketball, shuffle board, visited the playground, beach and pool. It was so relaxing, and the kids had a ball. The beach is significantly receded because of the water level of the lake. Instead of 6 fire rings on the beach to reserve, there was one "community" fire ring. We look forward to returning!
