Cottage 8A is a beautifully appointed two-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage offering a wonderful combination of comfort, space, and flexibility. The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area creates a bright and welcoming gathering space, allowing everyone to stay connected whether preparing a meal, sharing dinner, or simply relaxing after a day at the beach or pool. A gas fireplace adds warmth and charm to the living area, creating a cozy focal point for relaxing evenings. A queen-size sleeper sofa provides additional sleeping accommodations while maintaining the cottage’s comfortable and spacious feel.

The primary bedroom features a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom also offers a queen-size bed. Two full bathrooms add convenience and privacy, making the cottage especially well suited for families or groups traveling together.

One of the most unique features of Cottage 8A is its ability to adjoin with neighboring Cottage 8B, another luxurious two-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage. When combined, the two cottages create an exceptional option for extended families or larger groups who want to vacation together while still enjoying the privacy and convenience of separate accommodations.

Central air conditioning keeps the cottage cool and comfortable throughout the summer months. A private washer and dryer are located in the basement and are conveniently accessed through an interior entrance, adding ease and convenience for longer stays.

  We've been coming here for years since our children were preteens. Now our children bring their spouses and this year our first grandchild was introduced to this secluded lake Michigan paradise! The property is beautifully maintained and the cabins are cozy. You can spend a whole week here between the activities, pool, or beach; or venture in to town on bike, foot, or car for restaurants, shopping, and the farmers market. Lots of other adventures in the surrounding communities, are options if you need an escape.

  8A was the most beautiful unit. Loved all the windows, skylights for natural light, even though it was mostly cloudy that week. The yellow bedroom was so cheery. Loved the little deck off of it to sit and read. The layout was perfect. We even used the gas fireplace a few evenings, which Jason helped my husband get started. Only wish we could have picked the unit up and placed it on the lake bluff.

  I was looking for a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo to celebrate with my sister’s birthday and this looked like what I wanted. It is nicely decorated with firm, but comfortable beds. I liked the back porch as well as the chairs provided at the front entrance. The toilet in the hall bath was not working properly and I called the number provided. I was told a plumber would be there that evening or by the latest first thing in the morning. When I had heard nothing by 10:30 the next morning I went to the office. Jordan was very nice and assured me a plumber had been contacted. He came to the unit and attempted to plunge the toilet, which we had done several times, and it continued to be very slow and not empty completely. By the time we left Sunday morning no plumber had come. I was disappointed because I specifically wanted 2 bathrooms available for my stay with my sister. The view of Lake Michigan was stunning. The pool was lovely as well. While there were numerous amenities listed such as table tennis, bikes to ride, basketball, etc., a lot of the equipment was not well cared for.

  Wonderful resort for families. Never had to leave Sleepy Hollow for things to do with grandkids. Plenty to do for adults if you're active - tennis (nice courts), bikes, pool, beach, ping pong and other games. All was in good shape. The charm of our cottage and the feel of simpler, away from it all, was what really gave us the relaxation we needed. Great location close to many fun towns. We loved exploring Holland, Saugatuck, and South Haven, and then returning to the quiet of Sleepy Hollow. Our cottage is decorated so well, and was fully equipped. Only changes I'd make would be one tub, rather than two showers, to bathe the kids; also expected one queen bed in each bedroom, and one was a full. Still would request same cottage. We'd love to make this an annual vacation. Truly special!!

  Overall, this is a very nice place. The condo was fantastic - everything was clean and in good shape. The pool is very nice, access to the beach very sturdy (though the steps are not for the feint of heart), and the beach itself is phenomenal. Having the ability to reserve a fire pit on the beach for sunsets and s'mores is alone worth the trip! My only less-than-perfect score is for some of the other amenities on the property. The sports equipment could use some updating, all except for the Ping-Pong. That was in great shape. Overall, an excellent place at a great location. I would highly recommend it for couples and families of all shapes and sizes. We will be back!!

  We spend a wonderful week at Sleep Hollow although it was a little bit chilly. Less beach time ;-( compared to 2014 last week in August. Cottage 8A was great comfort, bright atmosphere, all in light colors - maritime style, very nice! The sun deck was equipped with great furnitures and big to host enough people for dinner. Cottage was very clean including bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped. We hope to return to Sleepy Hollow next year! Such a peaceful and happy place!! We love to walk to the stairs overlooking the lake in the morning. Such a great start into a new holiDAY!! Our son loved the art/craft activity in the morning!! :-)
